THE EPISTEMOLOGY IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION COURSES: EXPERIENCES AND CHALLENGES (IN THE UNOCHAPECÓ CONTEXT)

Abstract


The objective of this paper is to reflect about the “presence” of epistemology as a discipline at initial formation in Physical Education (PE). For this, I present an approach about the theme “epistemology” in initial formation at PE and, in sequence, reflections about disciplinary model in initial formation. I understand that it is not sufficient to approach “epistemology” as a specific discipline in initial formation at PE, but it is possible, in order to allow deepening. I conclude, more than a discipline, this “theme” requires a complex approach, which “crosses” formation processes, in the daily of initial formation, in all disciplines.
